Dorsia found its genesis in the Fall of 2011 at notorious Lower East Side dive bar, Parkside Lounge. Parkside's Bloody Mary fueled, Sunday open jam sessions brought together the likes of guitarists Jon Gonzales and Matt Renov whose fast friendship gave way to late night writing sessions steeped in elements of Classic Rock, Psychedelia, Funk, and Americana.  In the years to follow, Dorsia has solidified a core quartet, intent on crafting compositions, melodic hooks, and improvisational wizardry tailored to a live experience.
